Batch Picking
One of the best features of the Modula Horizontal Carousel is that it can be combined with up to three other units. Having four carousels together can allow you to achieve even higher picking performance. Operators can use this configuration with Modula’s warehouse management system to create a batch of orders that can be filled all at once.
To do this, operators can select the total quantity of each stock keeping unit (SKU). Picking aids, like batch picking lights, can tell the operator what to select and how to place the correct items in the correct orders.
